Since May 2008 FNG is a full member of the European Youth Forum (YFJ), which represents the interests of young Europeans towards international institutions. In November 2011 FNG has been elected at the CoE Advisory Council on Youth.
The FNG is coordinating and implementing – in collaboration with the Department of Youth of the Italian Government- the 4th cycle of structured dialogue process at national level on the theme of “youth empowerment and access to youth rights”, through 20 local events and an on line youth consultation. The FNG is also organizing, in the framework of the Italian Presidency of the Council of the European Union, the Italian EU Youth Conference, which will gather more than 250 between young people, youth organizations and policy makers from all around Europe in order to discuss and submit recommendations on youth issues to the Council of the European Union.
The FNG will ensure adequate dissemination of the project’s objectives and results to the relevant target group (young people aged from 15 to 30) at national level in the 28 EU Member States, as well as a long-term impact on their levels of active participation and citizenship by means of specific information and communication activities.
The FNG will include a youth perspective within the research approach, objects and methods, by involving youth representatives in the process of selection and evaluation of practices and policies, analysis of current phenomena and formulation of recommendations and suggestions during the research activity.
